Music and art North downtown (NoDo) is steadily becoming what LoDo was ten
years ago. At that time, artists, musicians and cultural facilities began
moving into LoDo to take advantage of low rents and raw spaces. After unprecedented
growth, the LoDo neighborhood has matured and prices have skyrocketed pushing
the original artists to the surrounding neighborhoods. Today, NoDo (including Curtis Park, RiNo Arts District, Upper
Larmier and Five Points) is attracting many of these artists with its
abundance of industrial and turn-of-the-century structures; access to transit
and downtown and its edgy, urban feel. Some of the music and art facilities
in walking distance from 2999 Lawrence include: > Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom > Blair Caldwell
African American Research Library > RiNo Arts
